On Saturday 24th May I’m running in the Ballyclare May Fair 10k to raise money for Gillaj star charity based in Kenya. One of the goals for this local charity is to provide a safe space for children and young people to study and complete homework by access to textbooks, exercise books and stationary without adding an extra cost to families that may be struggling financially within the local village. Patricia and Ibraham (the founders of Gillaj Star) have kindly opened their home to me and so on the 1st June I’m going out to Kenya and any money raised will be massively appreciated by the community. Anything you would be able to donate would be greatly appreciated!
