Hi everyone,

For several years, we — together with our community across Aldinga and the wider Fleurieu Peninsula — have been standing side by side raising concerns about the proposed artificial wave park development at Tuit Road, Aldinga.

What began as a small group of concerned local residents has grown into a united community voice of more than 1,000 people who care deeply about protecting the character, environment, and tranquility of this unique rural and coastal landscape that so many of us are proud to call home.

Throughout this journey, the encouragement and support from the community has meant a great deal to us. Many people have asked how they could help financially support the legal efforts associated with this matter. Until now, we deliberately chose not to seek financial contributions while mediation processes were underway, in the hope that a resolution could be reached without the need for further legal escalation.

However, as the matter now proceeds toward a court hearing, we would appreciate and be grateful for your support.

To date, well in excess of $200,000 has already been spent on legal fees. We remain committed to continuing this work. The costs associated with legal proceedings are significant and any support is genuinely appreciated.
