Community Help Needed for Belle's New Car

Hello, my name is Chris Hubbard and I’m attempting to help one of our community members who has fallen on some hard times.

On January 25th, 2025, one of my neighbor’s vehicles was involved in a hit-and-run while parked in front of her family’s home. She had purchased this vehicle less than 48 hours before this occurred. Unfortunately, the vehicle sustained extensive damage and is no longer drivable in its current condition. Because this vehicle was purchased with a salvage title, it needed to be inspected by Delaware State Police before she was able to get it titled in her name. This had not occurred before the hit-and-run, so the driver's insurance refuses to cover any of the damages.

Belle is only 18 and saved up her hard-earned money to purchase this vehicle only for a series of unfortunate events to snatch it away. At this point, the damages well exceed the value of the vehicle. I’m hoping with the help of our community, we can raise enough money for her to find a replacement.
