Community help for Danielle's Deli
Hi, my name is Maria Kotsonis. I have been connected with Danielle Glavin, the owner of Danielle's Deli for over 20 years, when she was just an employee of what was Angelina's Deli. Danielle's Deli has been a huge supporter of the Brookfield/Elm Grove/Wauwatosa community for years.
On, Tuesday, August 10th the Deli was hit by a storm that took out their power for days. Danielle not only lost all of her inventory in the coolers and freezers, but also lost over a weeks revenue and wages for her employees totaling close to $80,000 while the deli was shut down. Unfortunately, insurance will only cover a portion of the loss.
Yesterday I walked into the Deli and when I saw the cooler and freezer shelves empty I knew I had to do something.Danielle has a HUGE giving heart to fundraisers within the community. There's nothing she won't donate or contribute to. Now is the time for our community to give back to Danielle and her Deli.
Danielle and many of her amazing employees are single parents working long hours to try and support their young families. For single parent families, this is a hard hit. Please consider donating what you are able to help keep this deli going strong.
Please contact me if you have any questions...and as always, continue shopping at Danielle's Deli for their Friday Fish Fry, Sunday Hot Ham and Rolls and their ready made meals, hot cases specials, fresh, meats, cheeses and pretty much anything else you may need. Follow them on Facebook and let's support Danielle!!!!
