Community Health & Wellness Nature Off Grid Event Space

Hi! Shauntelle & Adam here from Pend D’Oreille River Ranch & Regenerative Farm near Salmo, BC. We are raising funds to help build out our Health & Wellness Off Grid Nature Event Space for our local communities!

We are hosting kids camps, self sufficiency workshops, empowerment & healing retreats, Horse Guided Empowerment Sessions, Homeschool learning opportunities & Enhanced Resilience Training for Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety & Depression.

We need your help!!

Our goal to keep things priced low or free for families and individuals who simply cannot afford to pay but we can’t build out our event space without funds! This is a great way to include and rally the community for support as we have a list of items we need as well as a major building project to provide a safe space for groups to gather under cover.

Our list of items needed this year in 2024 include:

• a propane fridge at least 14 cubic feet

• a full size propane cookstove

• a wood fire pizza oven and shelter for it

• a new dock

• a 30x30 covered area with wood floor and half walls for gathering in.

• monies for kids to attend camps who otherwise couldn’t afford to

• monies for adults & teens to attend healing retreats and empowerment weekends here at the Ranch

We already have an outdoor cookhouse, a covered shelter for eating under that will seat about 18 people, a lake for swimming with an old dock that needs replacing, a sawmill and wood to build the structures with, 320 acres of amazing wilderness and pasture, farm animals and a large garden for people to see and enjoy and learn about among other things!! Our goal is to provide a safe space for people to come for mental health get aways, to teach people how to become more self sufficient, to build community, to heal using the land and animals & to provide many opportunities for kids to get into nature and unplug.

Any donation amount would be absolutely amazing to help purchase the things we need and the supplies that we cannot harvest from the land here. Any extra monies raised will go towards kids camp fees allowing kids to come who cannot afford to.
