Hello, my name is Jennifer Allonas and I don’t just live in Bucyrus, Ohio, Bucyrus, Ohio is my home! It’s my children’s home and my parents and grandparents before me! I’m reaching out for help hoping to find enough good people out there willing to help us.
In the City of Bucyrus, like many small towns, tough financial decisions have been necessary. One of the most difficult choices was the cancellation of the city swimming pool's opening. However, in response to this setback, several dedicated community members have been tirelessly working to devise a plan to reopen the pool.
Various fundraising initiatives have been proposed to ensure the pool's sustainable operation, but an essential component is the contribution of $70,000.00 from community members. This financial support, combined with the available city funds, is crucial for the successful reopening of the pool.
The local pool holds significant importance as a place where children can spend their summer days socializing with friends, making new acquaintances, and enjoying quality family time. In light of this, donations from the community are being sought to facilitate the reopening of the pool.
Individuals are encouraged to consider donating in remembrance of their own cherished memories at the pool, for the benefit of their children and grandchildren, or simply to support this commendable endeavor. Every contribution, regardless of size, is valuable and will make a difference.
