Repair and Maintain Our Pinabete Dirt Roads

Llano Road is a mess! Some people like it just the way it is. If you're one of those, don't donate.

Note that a 10% tip is automatically added ($50 for $500 donation), but Tipping is optional, and the tip amount can be changed to 0.

I'll be opening a dedicated back account for the fund at Questa Credit Union as another option, when I get the first in-person donation.

This fund is for fixing Llano Road at least up to the Llano Acequia Madre. A second phase would be to go up into Pinabete to Llano Road North and up to both ends of Lower Pinabete Road. If we can get that far, and there's more money, we can keep going or focus on problem spots.

This plan is flexible. Please share your ideas. I'll add details and photos as we go along.

Culverts would be good... Raising the road bed a foot or so, with bar ditches and drainage where possible would be ideal, to keep the road in good shape for as long as possible makes sense.

I'll start getting estimates for resurfacing and upgrading the road from local contractors and research just what that would involve. The minimum for a professional job will probably be in the range of $30,000 to $50,000, depending on how good a job we do and how far up the road we go...
