Help Bring Hope and a Safe Home to a Stanly County Family
My name is Sheila, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a Stanly County family in desperate need of home repairs. This is a family that has always tried to make do with what they have, but right now, they’re facing challenges no one should have to face alone.
Their roof is leaking badly. Every time it rains, water seeps in—damaging the ceilings, walls, and even the kitchen where meals should be made with love, not fear of falling debris. The kitchen cabinets are ruined. The interior walls are stained and weakened. What used to be a safe haven is now crumbling around them.
The family is living on a fixed income. After paying for basic needs and monthly bills, there’s nothing left to fix the place they call home. They're not asking for luxuries—just a roof that doesn’t leak and walls that don’t buckle from water damage.
Here’s the good news: I have all the labor covered. Generous, skilled volunteers have already stepped up to do the work at no cost. All we need now is the funding for materials—shingles, drywall, insulation, kitchen cabinets, and a few other essentials.
This is where you come in.
Any donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to restoring safety and dignity to this home. Even $10 helps buy a roll of insulation. $25 helps replace a damaged cabinet door. Every bit matters.
Let’s show this family that their community hasn’t forgotten them. Together, we can lift this burden and give them back something many of us take for granted: a safe, dry, and livable home.
If you can help, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can’t donate, sharing this message is just as powerful.
With gratitude,
Sheila
