Hi, my name is Stephen Medcraft, I am a fully registered Mental Health Nurse and I have started a darts group in my local village (Nether Hayford) about 3 mouths ago to help the kids get out of the house, get off their phones/game consoles, help them socialise and to help with their mental health. I have only opened it up to the local villages at the moment but hoping to open it up to other areas also. I do this every other week due to work commitments but I snice I started this I have had to pay everything out of my own pocket such as the hire of the hall, equipment, snacks and drinks ect,(I dont mind this but it is starting to add up). I started the club with just a darts board and over the mouths I have been given other dart boards and a darts stand but I want to offer more to the kids that attend the club. I am getting some very positive comments about the club and how much the kids enjoy it and look forward to when it is next on. However, snice the club started I have tried to reach out to various Facebook pages for Donations and applied for grants from various places to help with the cost of running the darts Club but I have had no luck with either. Due to this, I am reaching out to the public to see if anyone can help. I know times are hard for everyone but if you can spare a pound or two it would be much appreciated and would help with the running of the club and those who attendwould be so grateful.
