Community Comic Con CIC is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Our mission is to support, promote and empower creatives, clubs and community groups within the Comic Con and wider pop-culture community.

We organise free, inclusive Comic Con events that give artists, traders, cosplayers, makers, clubs and organisations a platform to showcase what they do to a wide and diverse audience. Our events are entirely community-driven and volunteer-led, with thousands of attendees coming together to celebrate creativity, fandom and local talent.

Beyond our annual events, we actively support the community throughout the year by promoting local creatives on our social media platforms, running the Comic Con Community Podcast to highlight creators and projects and supporting initiatives such as free board-gaming sessions in partnership with local hobby groups to help people build confidence and connect with others.

Many people involved in pop-culture hobbies can experience social isolation or find traditional social environments difficult. By creating welcoming, judgement-free spaces centred around shared interests, we help people make friends, build confidence and feel part of a community.

Funds raised through easyfundraising help us keep our events free to attend, support local initiatives and continue creating opportunities for creatives, fans and community groups to come together.
