For over 20 years, I have worked in public health and community-focused programs, where I’ve seen firsthand how quickly people can fall into crisis. It’s not always about poor choices—many times it’s a medical issue, job loss, disability, or unexpected life event that leaves someone without food, transportation, or a safe place to stay. What really stayed with me were the moments where help could have made an immediate difference, but resources just weren’t there in time. Seeing individuals and families struggle with basic needs like food and shelter made it clear to me that there is a gap—and that gap is where I feel called to serve.

I am raising funds to support individuals and families in my community who are facing hardship, including those experiencing homelessness and lack of access to basic necessities. These funds will go directly toward providing essential support such as food, temporary shelter, transportation assistance, and other immediate needs for those who are struggling to get by. At this time, donations are being collected through my personal account to help begin this work and respond to urgent needs in the community. All contributions will be used solely for charitable purposes to assist those in need.
