Our dear loved ones Guadalupe Casco and Tomás Salinas

are awaiting the arrival of their child any day now!

Please consider donating any amount of money to support their birth and postpartum transition. This is a beautiful way for the community to come together and support a family who has given so much to us!

Lupe and Tomás have taken much time and loving thought into their preparations for birth and postpartum care which includes time away from work, a home birth with support from a wonderful midwife and a culturally aligned birthworker who has been guiding them with preparations and helping with planning for all that is to come.

Lupe, who for years has worked as a community worker and environmentalist with LandPaths, and Tomás, who is a high school teacher and supporter of young people, have spent much of their time thinking about and within the community.

Their hope is to welcome their baby in a comfortable and peaceful setting for the benefit of the baby and growing family while reclaiming ancestral birth and parenting practices.
