Most of you know Janet. If you've been to Images Cinema in the last 25 years (almost a quarter of its entire history!) you've probably been helped by her, welcomed by her, or had a conversation with her that you still think about.

She started as a student volunteer in 2000, and spent the last 18 years as Managing Director. She was there through the lean years, through COVID, through every moment this place almost didn't make it. She's the reason it did.

In January, her role was eliminated.

We're raising money to help cover her rent and basic expenses while she waits on unemployment and figures out her next move. If you can give something, please do. If you can share this, that helps too.

Janet is one of those people who makes a place worth living in. She's kind without making a show of it, dependable in a way many people aren't, and she has given more to this community than she'd ever say herself.
