Hello friends-

It's with the most sincere and loving heart that I'm reaching out to you for support for our sweet friend Dana.

For those who don't know Dana, she is the brightest light of our community. Her smile is infectious. Her wisdom is (truly) otherworldly. She's a staple of light and vision and warmth in our community. And she gives so much to us all.

Dana is of Choctaw and Cherokee heritage, and also has ancestors from Africa and Poland. The work she does for her bloodlines of ancestral healing and keeping the stories alive is what true reparations looks like.

Her generosity to share indigenous wisdom in our community as well as with the world makes me tear up.

Dana lost her mother and best friend, Marcia, in 2009.

She has lovely family and friends, but that hole is always felt.

Over the past month, I have been pondering into "what is community care" and "what is reparations", and how to build the world I'd like to see.

And I'd love to begin by supporting our Dana.
