Domestic Violence Is Never Acceptable Incorporated: DVINA Inc have been self funded for the past 6 years. My aim has always been to help those suffering Family Abuse, DV, sexual abuse & Homelessness. Thus far DVINA INC have helped many families by donating clothing for our Indigenous in outback remote areas in Alice Springs (Assisting Unity College Students & their families).

Our socially disadvantaged here in MurrayBridge & surrounding areas. We offer food via a gold coin donation for basic staples & free Fruit, vegetables & Bread. We keep our prices as low as possible to help everyone in the community. Our customers & clients know if they are struggling we bless them with free items. Our Aims have been accomplished by being open 6 yrs this coming October. I never expected to be open as long as we have. Murray Bridge Council have blessed us twice over the past 5 yrs with two small grants but We are proud to say we’ve survived this long being self funded. I’ve had to raise my prices on some racks but we are still super affordable. There’s a misconception in town that because I’m a charity my expenses are covered. I need to empathise that’s its opposite from the truth.

I have to cover all bills & expenses. DVINA Inc isn’t funded by the GVT. We are self funded.

I would like to raise funds to help purchase more food from FoodBank (Staples aren’t free) start gathering NEW winter essentials for Children attending public schools here in Murray Bridge & surrounding areas.

We aim to purchase sleeping bags, beanies & gloves for our socially disadvantaged this winter.

We need to continue dressing those for free for court, DCP meetings, interviews & funerals.

We love seeing those that are socially disadvantaged feel comfortable enough to come into the shop and taking what they need and leave without explaining themselves.

Our aim has been to help all that we can in our community.

Times are tough and our expenses are also rising.

without the community support we will struggle to continue helping those that really need it.
