Hello to anyone that follows me and if you don't know who I am my name is David Snyder, I work for the Huntsville Bail Fund and have been doing community activism and advocacy for some time now.
Right now I'm requesting the help of our community to keep a young black man out of jail. He has been displaced from his home after being charged and arrested for a crime. I have been working with him and his partner to help them back up from Birmingham where they were originally displaced to. They have been making payments for a payment arrangement for his bond but it is a very stressful and difficult thing to be bouncing back and forth and come up with finances for bond payments.
The total owed to the bonding company is $1,200 (plus I think some minor fees) of which they have managed to pay $700. I'm asking for help from our community to assist with the remaining. This has been out of the scope of what the Huntsville Bail Fund, as primarily a protest bail fund, has been able to provide regarding monetary bail assistance.
If you can help please give what you can as you can. I prefer to keep people anonymous and don't wish to exploit them and attempt to extract some type of "commercial" here for media clout. However I do have a strong principle of transparency and accountability and will gladly show receipts from the bonding agency as they happen.
Thank you.
