Community Aid for the Levy-Hunter Family

Hello! My name is Jakema Levy also known as Milo and I’m a junior attending Coe College majoring in criminal justice and sociology! Recently, my family has been hit with a financial crisis due to my mother having to go through emergency surgery due to rare complications with her health, possibly combating a rare form of cancer, which would put her out of commission and work for 6 weeks and we are on the verge of being evicted and would love to have help from the community to ensure that we still have some place to lay our heads. My mother is a hard worker and has provided for us all of her life, even when she didn’t have much, she would make sure that we had everything and I would love to return the favor to her. Not only that, I am going through financial difficulties here at university since I have a lot of fees and dues to pay that are coming up really soon on a short notice. Growing up, I always wanted to help out in the community and become something more to ensure that which is why I’m here at Coe, and would love to continue to further my education with the help from the community. My dream is to become an attorney, specifically working with immigration and juveniles! Anything would help and I appreciate it. I will use half of the money to support my mother in rent and the other half to pay my dues!
