Communities in Tanzania

Hi, my name is Ellen. I’ve spent the past three weeks in Arusha, Tanzania, surrounded by an incredibly inspiring community. I have been volunteering the past three weeks- two weeks nursing at Levolosi Hospital, and I’m now continuing my work at a women’s empowerment centre.

Throughout my time here, I’ve found that I’ve learned far more from the people around me than I could give to them. I’ve witnessed a deep sense of contentment and resilience in a community that thrives despite limited resources.

There are pressing needs—families require food, women need access to sanitary supplies, and there is an ongoing demand for essential supplies, to support those living with chronic conditions who struggle to access adequate health care.

I hope to raise funds to help meet urgent needs by providing basic essentials directly to the communities who need them most.
