Communities can make miracles

Dearest community, This lovely Walden Alumni family, I am embracing, have been in quite the situation. After realizing their vehicle was in extreme despair, and means for housing after grandma passed away was becoming difficult to maintain, they finally gave us permission to reach out to the community and ask for help. Recently, they were told that their vehicle needed a new engine. The cost to fix the vehicle is comparable to putting a sizable down payment on another vehicle that would serve their needs better.  This vehicle got mom to work, daughter to classes, frequent Doctor appointments, and provided shelter and storage during these trying Bay Area times. We are hoping to raise enough money to replace the vehicle that was detrimental in the prosperity of this family.  Please, if you have the means, we are hoping you can donate. And, if you can’t, we hope you can pass this on to someone who may be able to help. This is an urgent matter, as the winter months are upon us.  We know some of you feel uncomfortable putting information online.
