Commemorate Chad Wolff

As we approach the 10th anniversary of a significant loss in our family, we became aware of much-needed improvements to the Holland High Baseball Facility. We were inspired to provide funding and support to those upgrades in the spirit of remembering our son and brother Chad, who loved baseball and made many memories for us on the HPS athletic fields.

We intend to raise $25,000 to establish a fund that will provide an annual scholarship to an athlete or special needs student continuing education after high school and $25,000 to purchase much-needed athletic equipment for the baseball program. In return, the HPS Board has agreed to honor Chad by including his name on the new scoreboard and installing a commemorative plaque.

Chad's unique gift, of which we are most proud, was caring for young children with special needs and disabilities. As one of his teacher colleagues posted on the day of Chad's passing, "We lost a man today who brightened up every room he walked into; fought for the underdog and helped our neediest students achieve. A man who used his charisma, popularity, and humor for the good of others."
