TPFYI NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT
Since it’s inception in 2006, TPFYI has been the only consistent, reliable local news source for Tuxedo Park and the Town of Tuxedo. Averaging 8,000+ readers monthly, TPFYI is a strong vehicle for residents living in every area Tuxedo to connect with the community while educating themselves on important Town and Village issues. Over the years, our commitment to timely, accurate and factual reporting has earned TPFYI the trust and respect of residents. We cover it all, providing a complete view of all municipal meetings in addition to tax review, lake maintenance, new developments, planned improvements, emergency information distribution, election coverage, historic preservation, and much more.
Additional resources such as our interactive community calendar, extensive listing of local contractors and up-to-date aggregation of articles from local newspapers and media outlets have continued to strengthen the site and enhance our readership over time. We offer dedicated pages for local institutions and organizations including the Town and Village Police Departments, The Tuxedo Park Fire Department, The Ambulance Corps, both the Tuxedo Park School and the Tuxedo Union Free School District, all three Churches, The Tuxedo Park Library, The Tuxedo Historical Society, The Tuxedo Park Garden Club and more, providing up-to-date news and information for each. Put quite simply, no other local entity does what we do, acting as an invaluable source of information for the entire Tuxedo community and beyond.
Over the years TPFYI has been supported primarily a small handful of Sponsors at an average annual cost of approximately $15,000. with the majority used to pay free-lance reporters to attend all municipal meetings, write articles and featured reports and also create newsletters, while servicing the website and social media accounts daily. . It also allows us to maintain an extensive archive of information on the site. This is a tremendous amount of work and time basically done by one dedicated person who deserves your thanks as well as your support.
In order for TPFYI to continue to operate moving forward we must cover the majority of our expenses through readership contributions.
