Our dear friend Kiel passed away suddenly on February 12, 2026 at the age of 45. He is survived by his dedicated wife, Tobi, and their two daughters, Declan (8) and Maddy (6).

Kiel impacted many lives. He was known as a loyal and fun-loving friend and a brilliant scientist dedicated to cancer treatment research. His tireless work allowed Tobi to be at home with their beautiful girls and manage the household.

This devastating loss comes after an already heartbreaking few years for Tobi, who lost her father in 2024 and her mother in 2025.

As she faces unimaginable grief and the overwhelming financial burden ahead, we are asking friends and family to come together and support Tobi and the girls during this time. Any contribution—big or small—will help them regain stability, cover essential expenses, rebuild their future, and give this family space to heal.
