Coming together for the Kinney's
Donation protected
Ashley and Ryan decided to pack up their lives in Calgary and make the move home to New Brunswick to be closer to family and friends to raise their son. This time at home has brought with it unforeseen hardship, loss and new challenges. On Wednesday, March 15th the unthinkable happened for Ashley and Ryan. Ryan and Ashley were already dealing with the heartbreaking loss of Allan Kinney, Ryan’s father who passed away unexpectedly last week. The morning of Ryan’s father's service, Ryan made the trip home to Hatfield Point to check on Myles and make sure the fur family had what they needed. Sadly when Ryan pulled into the driveway, Ashley and Ryan’s garage, which stored the bulk of their belongings, had burnt to the ground. Myles, their dog was lost in the fire.
This family has endured so much over a short amount of time and the timing of it all is heartbreaking, to say the least. To know Ashley and Ryan is to know that these two go to extreme lengths to not only care and provide for their friends and family but anyone they come across that may be in need. Now it's our turn to return this favor.
This large garage was a large reason they chose this property to buy when moving back home. It was one of Ryan's happy places, where memories were already being made with their son, and unfortunately a place to store so many belongings that were lost in the fire. Anything you can give in support would be greatly appreciated. We're not looking for one large donation, but are asking for many small donations which we hope will add up to a lot. Enough to at least replace a few of the replaceable items and to get another garage up for them. Your donation will not bring back their beloved dog Myles, but it will help get the healing on track and will show them you care.
