In October of 2025, our family experienced something no one is ever prepared for. My mother-in-law, Patricia Calvert, lost her home in a sudden and devastating fire. Thankfully, she is safe — but everything else was lost.

In just a matter of minutes, she lost her home, personal belongings, cherished memories, pet, and the place she built her life. From family photos and keepsakes to everyday essentials like clothing and furniture, nearly everything was destroyed.

Right now, she is facing the overwhelming task of starting over from nothing. The funds raised will go directly toward:

Recovery, property cleanup and rebuilding costs. The home was not insured unfortunately and the estimated cost for cleanup is substantial.
