One afternoon, everything changed for the Shady family. A fire broke out in their home, and within minutes from a propane tank, the place filled with years of memories and the simple comforts of everyday life was gone. Thankfully, the Shady family made it out safely, but they lost nearly everything else.
Hayden Shady has been one of the few cornerstones to the FHN marching band. Let's come together for him and his family Huskies!
Hayden is the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation. Whether it’s helping a friend, making people laugh, or just being someone you can count on.
Kenna and Travis, Hayden’s sister and her finance were in the house when it happened. They were fortunate enough to make it out safely. They are both caring and loving people and help when they can.
Darren and Deborah, the parents of the house. Darren was on a business in New Jersey when the events took place, upon hearing the tragedy he took the quickest flight back to reunite with his family. He cares extremely for his family and is a loving person, he will do whatever he can to make his family happy. Deborah, was also in the house when it happened, she was able to alert Kenna and Travis to leave the house.
Oreo and Domino, the two cats of the household. During the event, they were able to hide in safe places. Domino was fortunately found shortly after the fire was put out. Oreo was found the next day, unharmed.
The entire family is safe and sound, but still recovering mentally from the events.
Now, it's time for us to show up for him and his family. This fundraiser is to help Hayden and his family begin again. Covering essentials like clothing, and basic needs as they figure out the next steps. Any amount, no matter how small, makes a real difference.
