Hi everyone,

We are starting this go fund me on behalf of our brother (in-law) Billy Brown and his family: his partner Brittney and their son Wesley.

Their home perished in a fire on Tuesday evening. They had been living in this home for the past 7 years. They lost everything they own. Of course, some sentimental items can never be replaced, including their two kitties, but we’re hoping to raise some money to help them get back on their feet. They will need everything from socks and shoes, to pots and pans, mattress and sheets and all the small things in between.

Thankfully, Brittney and Wesley were not home when the fire started. Billy was home, and was caught in the fire, but was able to escape. He is currently being treated at MassGeneral; he suffered 3rd degree burns on 40% of his body, broke numerous bones jumping from their second story apartment, including his neck, pelvis, all of his ribs on the right side, and one of his lungs collapsed. It will be a long road of recovery, where he will not be able to work.

We know times are extremely tough for everyone, but if our friends and family could come together, and make even a small donation of $5-$10, it could really help make a huge difference.

Our goal here is to try and lessen their stress and worries and questions of “what will we do?”
