Coming Home To Your Truth: A Healing Centre for Women

I’m Charlotte, and I’m building a women’s healing centre in Kent — not one day, not one year from now, but right now.

In 2019, I fled an emotionally abusive relationship with my two young children. I entered refuge with nothing but fear in my bones and a prayer in my heart.

While I’ll always be grateful for the safety that refuge offered, what came after was even harder.

There was no support once I was rehomed.

No one to help me process the trauma.

No one to help me heal.

That gap — between escaping abuse and rebuilding your life — is where too many women fall.

I know, because I did.

It took along time

& work emotional and spiritual healing, ✨, and deep inner work to reclaim my life. I trained as an emotional health coach and now dedicate my life to supporting women in coming home to their truth after trauma.

Now, I’m building the very space I once needed.

And I’m asking for your help to open the doors.

️ Coming Home To Your Truth: Women’s Healing Centre

We’ve registered as a CIC and begun applying for major funding — including the National Lottery. But as we wait for large grants to process, we need community support now to begin the work without delay.

With your donations, we will:

✅ Begin renting a church or community hall in Sevenoaks twice a week

✅ Launch the Freedom Programme, supporting survivors of domestic abuse

✅ Offer emotional support sessions, food parcels, and clothing donations

✅ Begin building a strong, nurturing community — rooted in truth, safety, and sisterhood

Why We’re Asking For Support Now

Women need help today — not in six months when grants are approved.

So I’m stepping forward in faith to cover the first rental costs myself while we fundraise.

With your help, we can make this sustainable and open the centre sooner.

Even £5 will help cover room hire, materials, and support for the first women who walk through the door.

We don’t need to wait to be rescued by big funders — we can be resourced by our own community.

We’re Also Organising a Community Fundraiser

We’re planning a local fundraiser in Sevenoaks to:

• Raise awareness

• Call in support

• Share this vision in real life

• And raise as much as we can for our first few months of running the centre

We’re looking for:

• Volunteers to help on the day

• Local businesses or churches who want to get involved

• Donations (food, prizes, etc.)

• And most importantly — people to spread the word

This centre will offer:

• The Freedom Programme (delivered by lived-experience facilitators)

• Inner child and shadow work healing

• Somatic and emotional support

• Food and clothing donations

• Safe space for women and their children

• A nurturing home for truth, restoration, and reclamation
