I’m Charlotte, a mum of two, survivor of domestic abuse, and founder of Coming Home To Your Truth CIC — a community-rooted project in Sevenoaks, Kent, dedicated to supporting women as they rebuild their lives after DV.

In 2018 I fled myself and entered refuge with my children. While I’ll always be grateful for the safety we found there, what came after was even harder — no emotional support, no tools to heal, and no community to rebuild with.

That’s the gap Coming Home To Your Truth exists to fill

Opening Now: The Women’s Closet

We are so proud to be opening The Women’s Closet — the first step in our wider vision for a Women’s Healing Centre.

The Women’s Closet will offer:

• clothing and essentials for women and children

• Emotional and practical support

• A safe, nurturing space for connection and community

This is where healing begins — with dignity, warmth, and being reminded that you are not alone

Building Toward Our Long-Term Vision

The Women’s Closet is just the beginning.

Our long-term goal is to open a permanent Women’s Healing Centre, where we can deliver:

• Programmes for survivors of domestic abuse

• Emotional and somatic healing workshops

• Food parcels and clothing donations

• A safe space for women and children to grow, rebuild, and come home to themselves

We are actively fundraising and applying for grants to make this a reality — but community support is what keeps the vision moving now.
