[ comfort zone ] UK Marathon Walk 2022

This September 26th, the [ comfort zone ] UK team will be participating in a 26 mile London Marathon Walk, raising money to support the incredible efforts by Toiletries Amnesty.

Toiletries Amnesty are the first organisation in the UK to tackle hygiene poverty and the only directory that allows people to see exactly where their donations are making an impact in their community.

Their mission? To alleviate hygiene poverty while reducing waste within the beauty industry by connecting donors to the people that need these products the most.

"Calls for donations of toiletries increased by 50% during the first Coronavirus lockdown alone."

The organisation work with over 500+ homeless shelters and hostels, women and children’s refuges, food banks, NHS Trust services, schools and colleges, prison services and many more who need support. In the last year alone, they've provided access to toiletries and hygiene products to more than 2.25 million people.

"The number of children living in poverty reached 4.3 million in 2021, that’s 30% of children living in the UK, and specialists expect that to grow."
