Welcome, friends, and thank you for your support! I’ve officially kicked off my 7th book drive for some very deserving children!
The national non-profit Comfort Cases provides suitcases and backpacks (instead of garbage bags) for foster kids traveling between homes. Did you know that 50% of foster kids don't graduate from high school? Our amazing company (Usborne Books & More) matches donations at 50% - so 150% of donations collected goes toward books for these foster children, at a time in their lives when they most need comfort, support, and something to call their own.
A $35 donation reaches 4 kids. A $65 donation reaches 8 kids - putting new, hardcover, age appropriate Usborne or Kane Miller books in their brand new backpacks and suitcases! My personal goal is to reach *250 kids* with *250 new books* for their *250 new cases*.
