Hi, my name is Sean Collins, and this fundraiser was inspired by my wife Jackie’s journey with breast cancer over these past few months. Watching her go through treatment has shown me how much of a difference a little comfort can make during chemotherapy. Something as simple as a soft heated blanket or a thoughtful care item can lift spirits and remind patients that they’re not alone.

That’s why we created Comfort & Care in Chemo—a project dedicated to putting together care packages that bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to breast cancer patients during treatment.

Through my role as manager of Vander Plaat Executive Limo, I’ve launched this fundraiser to bring our clients, friends, and community together in support of this cause. To make an even bigger impact, Vander Plaat Executive Limo will also be contributing a portion of every ride toward this effort, helping us reach more patients and spread more comfort.

Our mission is simple: to provide encouragement during some of the hardest days and to remind patients that there’s a community standing with them. Whether you’re able to donate or share this campaign, your support means the world and will help us bring light to those fighting breast cancer.

We have seen firsthand the incredible dedication of the nursing staff at the Valley Hospital Luckow Pavilion Infusion Center, along with Laura Klein, MD, Gary D. Breslow, MD, and Eleonora Teplinsky, MD, and their wonderful staff. Their compassion, professionalism, and kindness have been a guiding light during Jackie’s journey. This project is our way of honoring them by paying forward that same care to others who are walking through chemotherapy.
