Cancer sucks. And while it is heartbreaking to watch someone go through the journey, we’ll never truly know what their experience has been. Kim Stone Griffith has lived with cancer for quite awhile now, enduring highs and lows, surpassing milestones like watching her children graduate, with love and grace. Sadly, Kim has been in the hospital for over two weeks now and was placed in Hospice on October 29th.

Over the past two weeks, her husband Lance has been by her side, rarely leaving her. His job gives him long stretches of time at home, away form the oil fields, but having just come off that stretch, making it back to Texas, then coming straight back when Kim went into the hospital, it has left the family in need of support. And now that Kim has entered Hospice, his time away from work will continue to extend.

Kim and Lance need our help. With the loss of income, and the constant changes to her needs and long-term realities, it is time for those of us who have sought out Kim for support in the lean moments of our lives to support her and Lance.

All donations to Kim and her family will go to paying bills, caring for the family, providing for as much comfort as possible to Kim, and will allow Lance to be by her side as she continues on this journey.
