Mike Shipp's Texas Relief Fund
Donation protected
My name is Pam Shipp, wife of U.S. Army Veteran Michael Shipp. I am the daughter of a U.S. Army veteran and have lived in the Columbus area since my dad retired here when I was in the 5th grade. My husband made Columbus his home after he too retired here. Michael was born in South Texas and raised in Rockport, Texas, one of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Harvey. We feel it is our duty to do everything humanly possible to help the residents of this community that have lost nearly everything. We are taking donations for the items listed below to Fulton Community Church in Fulton, Texas on 9/12/2017. We will be giving the items collected and monies donated to the church to disburse throughout their community, as they know those in need of help. A small portion of the monies raised will be used to ease the financial burden on the Shipp Family traveling to and from Rockport, Texas to deliver the items and assist with clean up efforts once we arrive. Alot of people have lost not only their homes and belongings, but their jobs as well, due to damage being done to the places they worked. We know that we cannot begin to fix everything that has been damaged by this storm, but our hope is to make this terribly difficult time just a little bit easier for these families. We welcome you to join us and pray that others will assist us in our mission to help the people of Michael's home town.
