Help Our Family
On June 10, Baby Colton Lopez was hospitalized at Denver's children's hospital due to irregular respiratory patterns and diminishing oxygen levels. After conducting diagnostic tests, medical professionals discovered that he has a rare condition called total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR), accompanied by a cardiac anomaly. The incorrect connection of the pulmonary vein to the right atrium, instead of the left, is causing excessive strain and enlargement on the right side. As a result, this incorrect connection is causing unwanted blood flow into the lungs. Open-heart surgery is scheduled on Thursday the 19th.
