Color the Ballot is a nationwide campaign committed to diversifying political leadership, uplifting marginalized voices, and demanding a government that actually reflects the people it serves, not just the privileged few. We’re calling for a revolution at the ballot box, and we need your help to make it happen.

What We’re Fighting For:

• Representation that reflects real America, not just whiteness, wealth, or the status quo

Bold, progressive candidates from Black, brown, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, disabled, and working-class communities

• A government that prioritizes justice, not just politics as usual

Grassroots Candidate Support

We will identify, uplift, and support diverse candidates with powerful platforms but little access to funding. Your donation helps cover:

• Campaign materials like flyers, signage, and merch

• Digital advertising and promotion

• Training and strategic consultations for first-time candidates

Voter Education and Outreach

We are building tools and resources to educate the public about who’s on the ballot and what they actually stand for. Funds will support:

•Virtual events and town halls

•Online explainers and issue guides

•Translations for multilingual access

Social Media and Visibility Campaigns

We’re done being quiet. We'll use viral content, cultural commentary, and partnerships to amplify diverse candidates and drive national attention.

Events and In-Person Actions

Funds will also support live community events, speaking tours, and campaign stops in overlooked areas where voter engagement is low but impact is high.

Color the Ballot is still in its early stages, and community contributions will go directly toward building the foundation. A portion of funds raised will also support web development, marketing materials, and high-quality content production, including equipment for filming and design. These resources will help us create impactful messaging, grow our digital presence, and reach the communities that need this work the most.

We are tired of being told what leadership should look like. For too long, the face of leadership has been white, male, and wealthy, and we've been expected to accept that as the default. But the default has failed us. We’re done shrinking ourselves to fit into a system that was never built for us. It's time for a new standard, one rooted in justice, lived experience, and bold, unapologetic vision. We're not asking for permission. We're claiming our place.
