The Kentucky Colonels of Northwest Alabama believe that true service means caring for both the visible and invisible needs of our communities. This January, our chapter is proud to dedicate our monthly fundraiser to Mental Health America (MHA) — an organization that has spent over a century fighting for mental wellness, early intervention, and access to care for all.

Mental health affects every family, every workplace, and every community. Anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional hardship do not discriminate, and too many people struggle in silence due to stigma or lack of resources. Mental Health America works to change that by promoting prevention, education, advocacy, and support — long before individuals reach a point of crisis.

Through education programs, screening tools, advocacy efforts, and community outreach, MHA helps individuals recognize the importance of mental wellness and find help when they need it most. Their work saves lives, strengthens families, and builds healthier communities.

As a chapter committed to service, we are using this fundraiser to support that mission. Every dollar raised through this campaign will help Mental Health America continue its vital work — ensuring that people have access to information, support, and hope.

We ask you to consider joining us in this effort. Whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, you are helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health and reminding others that they are not alone.

Together, we can make a difference — not just in January, but all year long.
