Collin Catherwood's Eagle Project

Hi. My name is Collin Catherwood. I am currently a life scout with Troop 4 in Monroe, NY.

I am working to obtain the highest rank in scouting; the Eagle Rank. I have completed many requirements and earned many merit badges to get to this point. This Eagle requirement is the most significant as it shows leadership, determination, and perseverance.

For my Eagle project I will reconstruct a small bridge at my local church (St. Patrick's Church in Highland Mills, NY) which is in need of repair. This bridge spans a small creek that connects the church rectory to the religious education building and the church which will be used by our pastor every day. In addition, it will be used by the parish's Vacation Bible School in the summer to safely connect the open fields for recreation.
