Please SHARE and donate to a college fund for the daughter of one of my close friends.  She is now about to start her Senior year of high school and the family recently found out that she has been a victim of abuse at the hands of her stepfather for the last 6 years, since she was 11 years old.  She has started therapy and is doing well but we would love to see her be successful and able to go to college to achieve her dreams.  The family has received many phone calls and messages from friends and family that want to help and the family felt that investing in the girls future would be the best way to do that.  Currently she wants to go into the Veterinary field but whatever her goals may be we would like nothing more than to give her a chance.  Since she is a minor so we wanted to keep her name out of it but please see the link above to the articles regarding the the stepfather who is currently in jail where he belongs.
