Xmas Collection for Taita's Colombian Jungle Community

This month we're doing a Christmas collection for Taita's jungle community. There's much abject poverty in the jungle regions, so anything we can do to help will make a massive difference to the community. ❤️❤️❤️

Taita is obviously the head of the community and he has the role of doctor, priest, wiseman, counsel, protector, planner and provider.

Over the years of working with us, Taita has bought up lots of jungle land to preserve his community, culture and jungle from external threat.

He's created a reserve called Awá Pilde, built houses in the community for his people and created jobs for them so that they can provide for themselves.

This Christmas collection that we're doing will buy:

A toy for each of the children

School and art supplies for the kids

Toiletries

Christmas dinner for each family

A laptop for the community administrators to keep the community affairs in order
