Cole was able to attend De Smet through the school's scholarship program, where he excelled in sports and made so many friends/memories. This scholarship fund was created in his name so others could attend De Smet and experience it as he did.

Cole was taken way too soon, but he left such an impact, and his memory will be celebrated for years to come.
