Inclusivity. Thriving Community. Well-Being. Empowerment. Innovation. Resilience. Leadership. Respect. Radical Love.
These are just a few of the words that come to mind when we think about the Cold Tits, Warm Hearts. But these are many of the same words that come to mind when we think about our amazing friends at the YWCA of Mount Desert Island.
And that's why we are so thrilled to share that for our fourth (!!) annual March Daily Dip, we are honored to support the YWCA of Mount Desert Island.
Specifically, the funds raised through our March Daily Dip will be earmarked for the range of scholarships offered at the YWCA MDI that empower women in our community. These scholarships are designed to support various educational pursuits, from academic endeavors to skill development programs - as well as supporting single mothers. Through their commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, the YWCA ensures that financial barriers do not hinder women from accessing valuable educational opportunities, fostering personal growth, and community enrichment.
Every day of March, at least one member of our group will dip into the icy waters of Northern Maine to support their efforts.

But wait! There's more. Just like last year, we are upping the challenge - in hopes of upping your desire to donate! In addition to the daily dips, by at least one member of our group each day, we are also pledging to the following:
- 10 members of our group will dedicate themselves to dipping for all 31 days of the month
- Collectively, we will dip at least 175 times during the month
- Several members of our group are pledging to not only dip but also SWIM 100m every single day during the month, for a total of 3,100m swam during the month.
