St Peter’s Parish is committed to serving and supporting its Town of Brandon & Community.
When the Pandemic broke out we saw the need to assist the community in getting back to some kind of normality.
So we bought an old Caravan and when allowed we went to our local market place every week and served refreshments to anyone who needed and gave them the opportunity to meet up in the open air.
It was so successful that we have carried it on, it was so well received that when our old caravan floor gave way the community got together and bought us a new one, we were blown away by their generosity.
A year later and someone stole one of our wheels, the other was locked up, again the community came together and got us a new wheel.
We installed all the locks money could provide and yet recently a group of young men decided to take our caravan, it took them nearly an hour and yes they were caught on CCTV, the investigation is ongoing.
We as a Church absolutely love our community and hope to be able to once again support all those we have in the past and those yet to come.
Human nature inclines us to want to be with others for support and friendship. I will do my upmost to make sure we get back on track but I was encouraged to ask you, yes you give if you can.
Coffee Caravan was serving over 200 drinks to the visitors to the local market and doing our bit to support its success.
If you have any concerns or questions I would be happy to assist. dennis
