Cody & Kym

My son Cody went to bed one night in Oct 2024. as a healthy, active, employed 20 year old and woke up in the morning unable to walk and in extreme pain.

After 2 months in two hospitals and countless tests he was discharged in a wheelchair as a medical mystery with no diagnosis and therefore no means of accessing disability/sickness payments including NDIS.

Cody lives with his mum Kym, is still unable to walk unaided and relies heavily on her to assist with his daily needs, getting to his medical/physio appointments and paying their mounting bills, including rent. Due to not getting a medical diagnosis, Cody only receives Jobseeker payments which has put a lot of pressure on his and Kym's financial situation.

Losing his job, his mobility and independence as well as being in a lot of pain with an uncertain future has been incredibly difficult for both Cody and his mum Kym and any donations people could kindly contribute to lessen their hardships would be so much appreciated.
