Cobbler (ben arthur) Climb in FIRE FIGHTERS PPE

More information about CHILDREN'S HOSPICE ASSOCIATION SCOTLAND: All over Scotland there are parents caring for babies and children with rare and life-shortening conditions. Some of them may have years with their child, some only months. Children's Hospices Across Scotland, CHAS, are there for the whole family providing them with the support they need through Robin and Rachel House hospices, our CHAS at Home team and Diana Children's nurses. My name is Christopher, I am 30 years of age, and stay in the Arrochar Area, i am a retained fire fighter, and really enjoy my job. Has different challeneges,  but that is like most jobs, and i proud to be part of scottish fire and resuce. I have only being in the fire service February 2020 and as i said i really enjoy it, serving the local area, and other areas. further afield,  I was thinking what can i do, to make a difference to some ones lives, whether it is a individual or many people.   So i came to the idea i will Climb the Cobbler in arrochar, also named Ben Arthur. It is 884 metres 2,900ft.  I will climb the cobbler in full fire fire fighter protective gear,  trousers boots helmet and jacket, this gear is heavy to wear, and i am raising  funds for robin house in balloch  and also the scottish fire and rescue charity,  i will accept donations on route, and will up date on scottish hill walking page, of my journey and donations,  it is all going to great cause, so please sponsor and share,  i will have a radio on me, and plenty of water, please note i will NOT be doing this on my own, i will have someone with me,  PLEASE NOTE THE INTITAL DATE IS THE 17TH. I WILL JUST BE BACK FROM 10DAYS TRAINING COURSE.
