Coastal Missions: Support Kids in Costa Rica

My journey to support the children and communities of Costa Rica began nearly two decades ago, when I first dreamed of visiting this beautiful country. After many years, I finally made it to the Osa Peninsula, and the experience changed my life. I was deeply moved by the warmth and humility of the people, even in the face of significant poverty. The children I met were full of potential, but many lacked access to basic resources that could help them thrive in school and in their communities.

I am currently focusing my efforts on the Osa Peninsula, a rural area where the need for support is especially great. I am working directly with local contacts and personally handling much of the groundwork to ensure that donations go where they are needed most. The funds raised will help provide essential items for schools, such as smart TVs, reliable Wi-Fi, updated books, uniforms, and nutritious lunches. I will be working closely with local teachers and supporters, and I plan to visit Costa Rica as needed to make sure resources are delivered effectively. Beyond the classroom, I hope to support community gardens, centers, and outreach programs that can make a lasting difference for families.

This mission is just beginning, and my hope is to expand these efforts across Costa Rica and, one day, to other communities around the world.
