Coastal Medical Employee Relief Fund
Donation protected
The CMTS employee relief fund has been created to provide financial assistance should an employee or their family find themselves in an emergent situation or other hardship.
In just a few weeks I will have the honor of running in the 127th Boston Marathon with a bib provided by CMTS. In return, I have pledged to raise $5,000 for the CMTS employee relief fund.
On April 15th, 2013, I was standing at my assigned post with the 772nd Military Police Company for law enforcement operations on Marathon Monday. Typically, the Army National Guard’s presence was to keep spectators from impeding on the racecourse and overall crowd control. That changed following the detonation of two explosive devices at the finish line. The resolve of the runners and spectators impacted by the explosions and those who came back to run again in the following years have always inspired me. I have worked each Marathon since either with the Army up until 2017 and in EMS operations with Boston EMS, Newton, and Wellesley from 2018 on. Running Boston has always been something I have wanted to accomplish, especially on the 10th anniversary of the bombing. I am grateful to be given the opportunity and hope with everyone's help I can hit this fundraising goal. Thank you all.
