Hi, my name is Carol Dahle.

I'm a longtime friend of Don Kadidlo and Don (Pinky) Lee. On behalf of their families and myself, I am fundraising for a memorial scholarship for these 2 incredible coaches.

Many lives have been touched by great coaches. This spring we lost 2 of those great coaches, Don Kadidlo and Don (Pinky) Lee. In an effort to honor all the coaches, past, present, and future, the children of Coach Kadidlo and Coach Lee, would like to start a scholarship to be given annually to a graduating Hudson High School Senior athlete who has mentored upcoming athletes in the community, whether it be through student coaching or involvement in youth athletics in some sort of capacity.

Coach Kadidlo and Coach Lee worked together as football coaches at Hudson High School in the 60’s and 70’s. During that time, along with continued decades of coaching in other capacities, they embodied what it meant to be a great coach:

Good coaches model the behavior they expect from their team and in turn earn the respect and admiration of their players.

We are seeking to raise $25,000 to endow the scholarship so it can continue the legacy of great coaches for years to come. Any contribution large or small would be greatly appreciated. We’d also love to hear any stories of these two great coaches in the comments!
