Coach Nick Hill's Half Marathon for NubAbility

Help sponsor my run in the 2019 Nashville Half Marathon for the 2nd Annual Game Changer Benefit for the NubAbility Athletics Foundation! 

All donations will go directly to the NubAbility Athletics Foundation scholarship fund to help bring young athletes to my hometown DuQuoin, IL on Wed, July 17th - Sun, July 21st 2019 for the largest weekend long sports camp that features over 20+ sport focus sessions in sports.

This camp brings over 200 limb-different youth and their families to Southern IL from across the nation and the world, to discover their COURAGE & CONFIDENCE through sport. They eat, dine, lodge and fuel for 5 days in our region and spread the word to the world about our hospitality.

This year our Athletic Director Jerry Kill is the Game Changer Honorary Chair and will be the MC for the 2nd Annual Game Changer Benefit.

I was lucky enough to meet Calder Hodge a middle school QB from Texas at the NubAbility camp last year.  Calder and his Dad, Mike, were able to come up on a game day visit this past football season with the Southern Illinois University football team. 

At NubAbility's life-changing camp, over 80 accomplished limb-different athletes-as-coaches, coach 20 mainstream sports. Volunteer opportunities are provided to nearly 600 local residents, the majority of which are high school and college students. The impact of the camp on the lives of volunteers is life-altering. SIU Athletics Department partners with NubAbility by sending coaching staffs and Saluki athletes to volunteer in assisting NubAbility coaches. We continue our  involvement because of the positive impact we have seen it make on the Southern Illinois University Football program. 

FUN FACT: For every $500 gifted to NubAbility, a Limb Different Child gets to experience Camp.
