Keep Coach Harris Legacy Alive

Gone to Soon Coach Lucius “Lou” Harris. Coach Harris was a God fearing man who believed in helping give back to his community. Coach Harris was a retired Vietnam veteran , He began his is life journey as a Boxing Trainer at Frontline Outreach under direction of C R Smith , while Volunteering at Frontline Outreach he began mentoring the youth in the area and encouraging them to do good in school , during that trial he began training the youth Techniques in boxing , he becaming a Boxing Coach taking many of the youth to Amateur and professional boxing matches . While at Frontline Outreach Coach Harris came in contact with a very trouble youth Antonio Traver, he began to mentor and give words of advice to Traver, Traver became one of his fighter , in 1996 Coach Harris took Traver to the  USA Olympics where they brought the bronze medal home. Coach Harris begin thinking he wanted to  do more with youth started exploring his options , he decides to open up Harris Boxing Gym with his own money he found a space and brought equipment, he had over 10 fighters that followed him to his Gym never concerned with how he was going to keep his doors open allowing youth to train for FREE !!! All he care about that they had a safe place to come workout and learn how to control Impulses. How to become good adults in society. The family and friends of Coach Harris are asking for help to continue his life dream to help the community have a safe place  to come . No donations is to small .
