Help Us Recover from a Tragic Accident

On September 28, 2024 We were in a tragic car accident in Booneville Arkansas, My car was down in a 12ft ditch and was completely totaled. I was knocked unconscious with two broken legs. I was taken by ambulance to Booneville hospital where they decided I need to be flown by Med Vac to Washington Regional in Fayetteville Arkansas. Where they had put me on a ventilator and did an emergency surgery to stabilize my leg, After A day and a half of being on the vent I was taken off, After 3 days of being at Washington Regional I was taking by ambulance to St Johns in Tulsa Oklahoma. I spent 2 weeks there having 3 surgeries on my left leg and 1 surgery on my right. Then I went to Fort Smith Arkansas to Encompass where I started Non weight bearing therapy for two weeks. After those two weeks I came home and ended up with an infection in my open incision and my PCP did all she could do for 3 weeks and then finally got into an Ortho and found out the only way around the infection was another surgery. January 28, 2025 I had my surgery at St Marys in Russellville Arkansas. After a week in the hospital I got to come home with a wound vac, and a pic line. February I finally got to start bearing weight on my legs. May 31, 2025. I got released to be able to start driving again. As it’s still hard to get around and still learning to walk properly again with no help. With all this going on and Chris not getting many days or hours at work.
