" I am only one person, I cant change anything"

In a world with billions of people, it can be easy to adopt the belief that one voice is too quiet, one action is too small, and one person is too insignificant to make a difference.

but change never belonged to one person. it begins with one person who cares enough to take the first step, and grows when others decide to walk alongside them.

YOUTH ARE THE FUTURE. But a future we desire does not simply happen. For young people to build a better future, they need a strong foundation today. They need opportunities, support, safe spaces, strong influences and people who believe in their potential. More people who care.

That is why we, Tanisha Solomon and Kurvonte Charles are taking on a 131 km journey from the CN Tower to Niagara Falls to raise funds and awareness for Generation Chosen and the important work they do.

We deeply believe every young person deserves the opportunity to feel seen, supported and empowered to reach their fullest potential, regardless of the circumstances they were born into. The environments and opportunities we create for youth today shape the communities we will live in tomorrow. The media pushes a narrative of division, fear, and scarcity. And by consuming it you can see the rise in hopelessness within the minds of the masses.

Our 131 km journey isn't just about completing a physical challenge. It is about using our own effort to bring attention to something much bigger than ourselves. We want to start conversations, raise awareness and encourage others to recognize that creating change does not require you to be powerful or wealthy. It starts with caring enough to do something.

We are overwhelmed by so much pain, suffering and uncertainty. We know by sharing our journey, we can encourage others to make a change in the world we live in. Our goal is to turn 131 km into more than a finish line. We want it to become a step toward stronger communities, greater opportunities and a future where every young person has the chance to thrive.
